Beef Pepper Steak Recipe

Beef Pepper Steak Recipe


  • 1 ½ inch thick beef steak
  • 2-3 bell peppers
  • 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • ½ lb mushroom, thinly sliced
  • ½ hot pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp red wine
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2-3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes, to taste

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Slice uncooked steak into thin slices across the grain then prepare vegetables: core and slice bell peppers, peel onions and thinly slice, peel garlic, then clean mushroom and slice.
  2. Melt butter in olive oil then add onions. Sauté over medium-high heat.
  3. Add whole garlic cloves and sliced peppers then mash into the oil.
  4. Add the steak slices. Cook until brown.
  5. Add mushrooms then add red wine, flour, and bouillon cube.
  6. Season with soy sauce, to taste.
  7. Add hot pepper and red pepper flakes, to taste.
  8. Serve and enjoy your beef pepper steak!
